Join me for an immersive half-day plein air watercolor workshop at the breathtaking Cliff Falls Park in Maple Ridge, a treasure trove of natural wonders.
Amidst nursery logs, sword ferns, and towering Cedar, Hemlock, and Douglas Fir trees, you'll find inspiration in the tumbling and cascading creek. This advanced workshop includes a live demonstration where you'll learn to capture the essence of water and reflections, paint intricate rocks, and compose a simple landscape with detailed complexities. After the demo, put your skills to the test and create your own masterpiece under my guidance. Embrace a day of artistic exploration and natural beauty in this unique setting.
I'll have lots of materials for you to try out (paints, paper and brushes), and will have a gazebo set up to protect us from the changing weather. Don't forget to bring your own materials, chair, water and a water cup (full Supplies List is here). My favourite materials are here in this blog post or shop on Amazon
