Dive into the world of nature and paint a unique Killer Whale in Elena Markelova’s signature double exposure style. Elena will be showing you how to combine a portrait of the Orca with a mountain seascape of its natural habitat using basic watercolour techniques and some of Elena’s favourite tricks to add more life and movement to the painting.
In this 3 hours class you will learn the basic watercolour washes as well as some advanced techniques, perfect your tree painting skills, learn how to achieve deep depth and light balance in your compositions, and will leave with a beautiful painting and a new skill set that can be used for future art projects!
There are two packages available:
1. If you have materials needed (set of watercolour paints, brushes and paper), please pick the package #1. Please bring at least 2 sheets (about 8x10") of your favourite watercolour paper for the workshop.
2. If you don't have any materials, please pick option #2. All materials will be provided.
