Why I’m Creating Creative Retreats Around the World (and Why You Should Join Me)

Lately, life has been a series of reminders to slow down. Between global instability, the heartbreaking wars, and ongoing challenges within my family (and my own health struggles), I’ve been reflecting deeply on what matters most.

What I’ve learned is this: life is short, and moments of joy are priceless.
Money comes and goes, but opportunities don’t wait for the “right” time. The right time is now.

Art and teaching have always been my light. They’re how I connect with myself, and how I connect with others. My students give me so much hope and inspiration — and I’ve been dreaming of creating spaces where creativity, connection, and healing come together.

That dream has finally come true:

🌿 In February 2026, I’m taking a small group to the magical Azores — a lush volcanic paradise filled with crater lakes, marine wildlife, and endless ocean views. We’ll spend 6 days watching the whales, exploring botanical gardens, and capturing it all in watercolor — no experience required.

🌸 And in April 2026, we’ll gather in Sicily, surrounded by Mediterranean beauty, hilltop villages, and vibrant Italian culture. This retreat will be a slower, soul-filled journey with painting, delicious food (and wine), and deep connection.

Both retreats are about so much more than painting. They’re an invitation to:

  • Slow down and recharge
  • Reconnect with yourself and nature
  • Experience the joy of creating without pressure
  • Travel with a small, supportive group of kindred spirits

For me, these retreats are as much a creative reset for myself as they are for my students. They’re a way to heal, to dream again, and to share moments of beauty with others who feel the same pull toward art and adventure.

If your heart is craving inspiration, connection, and a chance to see the world through a more creative lens, I’d love for you to join me — in Portugal, Italy, or both.
