This 6-week watercolor course is all about water in motion—from calm ocean surfaces to crashing waves, coastal scenes, and the powerful presence of marine life. Students will learn how to paint water with confidence while understanding reflections, transparency, movement, and mood.
We’ll explore ocean color, wave structure, foam and spray, and how to naturally include boats, whales, orcas, and coastal elements into dynamic compositions. This course balances technical skill and artistic storytelling, helping you create expressive, flowing paintings inspired by the sea.
Perfect for artists who love coastal subjects and want to improve their ability to paint believable, energetic water scenes.
