Floral Hummingbird - 1 - 3 pmEmerge into the magical world of nature and paint a unique Hummingbird in Elena Markelova’s signature double exposure style. Elena will be showing you how to combine a portrait of the Annas Hummingbird with bright flowers using basic watercolour techniques and some of Elena’s favourite tricks to add more life and movement to the painting. In this class you will learn the basic watercolour washes as well as some advanced techniques, and will leave with a beautiful painting and a new skill set that can be used for future art...
For the second year I'm coming to Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival!Find me at the Art Zone with my new paintings and art-prints, and join a free workshop each day from 12 - 1:30 pm. Together we will create a unique colourful summer artwork in my signature double exposure style - on Saturday we will paint a "Coastal Orca" and on Sunday we'll paint a "Floral Hummingbird".Please check the festival website for more details, list of headliners and the event map - Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival

Meet us outdoors at the Hillside Shopping Centre on the corner of North Dairy and Shelbourne St.
Up to 100 artisans a day to fill your creative spirit, Music to dance too and workshops to learn from talented artisans, including myself. My 'Coastal Orca' workshop will run on Sunday, July 9th, 1:30 - 3 pm - SOLD OUT
