My Signature Watercolour Portraits are painted in the same loose, expressive style I use for my live watercolour guest portraits. Each one is painted by hand from your photograph, capturing the character and feeling of the person or animal rather than every tiny detail.

1 subject — $75 CAD
One person or pet.
2 subjects — $95 CAD
Two people and/or pets in the same portrait.
3 subjects — $115 CAD
Three people and/or pets in the same portrait.
Need more? Additional subjects are $20 each. Please contact me before ordering if you'd like a larger group.

Each portrait is an original piece of artwork—not a print or digitally generated image.
Choosing your photo
For the best result, please choose a clear, well-lit photograph where the face and features are easy to see. Natural light is ideal.
Don't have a perfect photo? That's okay. You can send me what you have and I'll let you know if I think it will work.
You can also send separate photos if you'd like me to paint two or more people or pets together in one portrait.
After placing your order, I'll contact you by email with instructions for sending your photo.
A note about the style
These portraits are intentionally loose, expressive and painterly. They are not highly detailed or photorealistic portraits.
Think of them as a little impression of someone you love—capturing their expression, personality and the feeling you have when you look at them.
Because each painting is created by hand, every portrait will be unique.
Turnaround
Please allow 2–3 weeks for your portrait to be completed.
If you need your painting by a specific date, please contact me before ordering and I'll do my best to accommodate your deadline.
