It’s often frustrating to see animals on nature hikes, because they almost always run away; one rarely sees them up close. I bring the animals close to the viewer to bring some renewal to wildlife art. In my portraits combined with nature, I like to share the experience of being within the intimate world of the animals – a little moment of paradise. While painting, I feel the texture of the body of the animal in my mind – the soft, shiny nose, the smooth fur, the beautiful red tail.
In “Enchanted Animals” collection I focus on spirits and inner world of each animal. We are similar to all living creatures with our own background and stories. Have you ever thought about how deer blend within the forests greens? This painting is a reminder to go deep within our own souls and see beauty all around us.
